Nugali has earned recognition of the quality of its products in the pure bitter category
The International Chocolate Awards Americas 2019 chose the best chocolates from North, Central and Latin America and awarded, with a bronze medal, the Bitter 70% Premium Line and Cocoa in Flower 70% Nugali products. The two award-winning chocolates will participate in the world final this year, competing with the winners from each continent.
Nugali is part of the Brasil Sweets and Snacks Project, designed to strengthen the sector by the Brazilian Chocolates, Peanuts and Candies Manufacturers Association (ABICAB), in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).
The Brazilian chocolate producer has already conquered in its portfolio ten medals in this international competition in the last four years.

Seeing our chocolates gaining prestige is a recognition of a joint effort, ranging from the cocoa grower to every employee in the company”, says Maitê Lang, Nugali director, who attended the awards ceremony at the International Chocolate Awards Americas 2019 in Hoboken, New Jersey, United States.
Dark chocolate 70% cocoa gets a light roasting, resulting in a delicate flavor. Already Cocoa in Flower 70% integrates a series of products that emphasize unique flavors of Brazilian cocoa. Produced from Trinitarian and Scavina varieties, planted in Bahia, this chocolate preserves the intense taste of cocoa almond.
Nugali was established 15 years ago and is a pioneer in Brazil in the bean-to-bar segment, in which the company performs all stages of chocolate production, from choosing the fruits on the farms to delivering them to the consumer. The company manufactures about 40 products, all made with high quality Brazilian cocoa.
