Brazilian companies present innovative and better-for-you products in Hall 1 and 2 Stands C2 -31 to C2 – 44


            With growing exports to mature markets, such as Europe and the United States, and regions such as the Middle East and Latin America, Brazil's delegation of confectionery and snacks presents innovations that follow the main trends in the international market, aimed at healthy eating and with products that have undergone an upscaling. Nine Brazilian companies such as CORY, DIVINE, DOCILE, ERLAN, M.DIAS BRANCO, NUCITA, RICLAN, SIMAS and SEU NINICO are participating in YUMMEX ME 2018, the international fair for sweets and snacks in Dubai, from October 30 to November 1.

The companies and its products will be in stands C2 -31 to C2 44, inside the Pavilion of Brazil, organized by the Associação Brasileira das Indústrias de Biscoitos, Massas Alimentícias e Pães & Bolos Industrializados [Brazilian Manufacturers Association of Biscuit, Pasta and Industrialized Bread & Cakes] (ABIMAPI) with the support of the Sweets and Snacks Project, developed by Associação Brasileira da Indústria de Chocolates, Cacau, Amendoim, Balas e Derivados [Brazilian Association of the Chocolate, Cocoa, Peanut, Candy and Derivatives Industries] (ABICAB) and by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).

Among the Brazilian highlights at the fair, GELATINES UNI, jelly candy with colored beads from DOCILE, selected by the Yummex ME organizers to compete for the Innovation Awards. In strawberry flavor and in limited edition, the candy comes in packages of 80g.

Below, releases and other highlights of the Brazilian delegation in Dubai:



WHITE CHOCOLATE ZERO. A white chocolate with milk without lactose, without sugar, without gluten and without hydrogenated fat. Aimed at people with dietary restrictions, it can also be consumed by vegans and attracts consumers concerned about maintaining a healthy diet.

ZERO CHOCOLATE 80% COCOA. A chocolate with 80% cocoa, no lactose, no sugar, no gluten and no hydrogenated fat. It can also be consumed by vegans.

FLAKES PROTEIN COVERED WITH DARK CHOCOLATE 50% COCOA AND WHEY PROTEIN. A snack with high protein content, no added sugar, no gluten and no hydrogenated fat.

HAZELNUT FLAVOR CREAM WITH COCOA. Cream in the flavor of hazelnut to spread for breads or cookies, being able to be served with fruits or desserts. Gluten-free and no hydrogenated fat.

PEANUT FLAVOR CREAM WITH COCOA. Cream on the peanut flavor also to spread for breads, be served with fruit or used in various desserts. Gluten-free and no hydrogenated fat.



New LIVEFIT line from ERLAN, with products with no sugar, gluten free, trans fat, without artificial colors. They are produced with natural flavors and ingredients that do well, such as green tea, matcha, hibiscus and ginger.

            The candies of the LIVEFIT line:  Zero Sugar hardy candies 4g, natural flavours and healthy ingredients in Green Tea Lemon flavour – Omega 3 (chia oil) – 40g; Hibiscus with cranberry flavour  – Collagen and vitamin C– 40g; Ginger with propolis, honey and lemon flavour – 40g; Ginger with cinnamon flavour – 40g; and Citrus menthol flavour – Vitamin C – 40g.

            The LIVEFIT line also includes chocolate bars with no added sugar in the flavors: Milk chocolate – 20g; Dark chocolate 55% cocoa – 20g; White chocolate – 20g; Milk chocolate with whey protein and soya protein (crispy/ nuggets) – 20g.

            Still part of the LIVEFIT line, cereal bars:

NATURAL NUTS BARS WITH ZERO SUGAR FRUIT, with and without chocolate zero sugar coating in the following flavours: Nuts, Cranberry and dry fruits bar – source of fibre – 25g; Nuts, Apricot and dry fruits bar – source of fibre – 25g; Nuts, Strawberry and dry fruits bar – source of fibres – 25g; Banana bar, prune and cashew nut and sugar free bittersweet chocolate cover- with collagen – 25g.

              NATURAL FRUITS ZERO SUGAR BAR, made with health-enhancing ingredients such as vitamin C, green banana biomass, chia powder and whey protein. The fruit bars of this line come in the flavors:  Banana bar with whey protein vanilla flavor – 25g; Guava bar – vitamin C – 25g; Banana bar – Fibres – 25g; Peanut bar – Omega 3.

ERLAN also features the BUUH line, dedicated to Halloween, which includes Chewy Candies, Chew Bars and hard lollipops with sour flavors and tongue paint characteristic. The line features:  Strawberry, Green Apple and Tutti-frutti sour assorted chews artificially flavoured and coloured – 500g; Sour chew bars artificially flavoured and coloured: Strawberry, Green Apple and Tutti-frutti – 40 units x 12g; and Strawberry, Green Apple and Tutti-frutti sour assorted lollipops artificially flavoured and coloured – 600g.



Connected with international consumption trends, RICLAN launches FREEGELLS HONEY, PROPOLIS AND LEMON WITH VITAMIN C. The new product, which brings the benefits of true propolis and vitamin C, in the honey-lemon flavor, is an upscaling of original Freegells drops, Riclan's best-known brand and already established in mature markets such as Europe.

             Still prominent among RICLAN's products, SUGAR FREE HARD CANDY POCKET COFFEE, the well-known candy coffee flavour now sugar free; e MY TOFFEE ZERO LACTOSE, milk toffee with no lactose

A RICLAN also launches MY TOFFEE DIET ZERO LACTOSE, the first no sugar added milk toffee also lactose free, developed for those with lactose intolerance and diets based on reduced sugar.

            It also presents the FREEGELLS drops in the AÇAÍ AND BANANA flavor, a typical Brazilian flavor, launched this year and attracting the attention of consumers in different countries, especially in Europe, where the company exports the traditional flavors of Freegells drops.
